I am by no means the first person to say this, but I may be the only engineer/manager who means it.
One-offs turn into "two-offs," and rapidly become a custom process that someone is now tied to for months –if not longer.
Take the extra time to think whether or not something could be requested again before manually doing it.
FUN FACT: If it's related to development, it will certainly need to be repeated because compliance generally requires evidence and repeatability.
